Today's exercise is for those single people. I know I sound like a broken record because I've said more than once during these exercises how heroin addiction has split and torn families
completely apart. We have met many couples- the husbands and wives whose child is using and abusing heroin or other drugs.
The book says,
Put yourself out there if you haven't dated in awhile. Or, if you have and area interested in trying some new ways of meeting interesting people and possibly a life partner, try some of the newest dating strategies.
Online dating sites have proliferated in recent years. Some charge a fee and some do not.
Interestingly speed dating is and interesting option utilized by upwardly mobile young professionals. Back in the day, people thought of matchmakers have gone mainstream and have found the web and the Yellow Pages perfect venues for advertising services; namely, to help you find Ms. or Mr. Right.
If you seen a companion for your life and haven't yet found one that's a keeper, don't give up. You have more options and tools than ever for finding that perfect someone for you.
I know one church we went to years ago had a singles group within the church for those persons who were not married within the church. You can check with your church or a group you belong to.
Just For Today: I acknowledge that life, and our marriage, is not perfect all of the time. I choose to be present and work through the tough stuff.
